Today, 19th August 2016, is World Photo Day.  Celebrated across the world, today people are encouraged to take a photograph and share it with the world.

Photographs are not just pictures.  They can capture a story.  They can form a beginning, or mark an ending.  They can feature people or places, nature or nurture, creation or destruction.  For many people they capture memories – a snap shot of life in that instance that we want to remember for years to come.

Photography is important not just for your personal life but it is vitally important for business too.  Many of us have our profile photograph on Linkedin.  Those of you engaged in social media will know how much more influential your posts are when you add images to them.  Anyone who has a website will know that the right images and photographs can really bring your business to life – and the wrong ones can destroy it.

The photographs and images you use in your business need to reflect your brand values.

Do you want to be modern and inspiring?

Do you want to appear friendly and engaging?

Photography can be an area where budgets come under scrutiny.  Particularly as a small business owner, can you justify money on professional photography, or will the office camera do?

Or can you just use stock photos?

As with most industries, you get what you pay for and if you want your business to look professional then we always recommend you use a professional to do it.  After all, a bad image can do as much to damage your brand image as a bad customer review.

Our marketing, social media and graphic design virtual assistants work with a network of photographers to create and deliver the best photography for your business.  Maximising your budget, they will use commissioned or stock photos to find the most effective combination to present your company in the best light.

Our team of highly experienced VAs love to take on the tasks you don’t have time to do, don’t have the skills to do or simply don’t want to do.

Please get in touch on 01483 332220 or email us at office@getaheadva.com to find out more about our flexible, cost effective virtual assistant service.  We pride ourselves on being the staff you don’t see but the difference you do.
