Name: Beth Redpath

Area of expertise:  The full marketing mix (social media, email marketing, SEO, events, PR, ABM, advertising, content, webinars, ads and more) to achieve positive sales results.

When & why did you join Get Ahead VA: I joined Get Ahead VA in May 2020. I had been given the opportunity to go freelance and I felt it would give me the work/life balance I needed whilst still building my marketing know-how and help businesses get ahead with their marketing.

What did you do before you joined Get Ahead VA: I have worked in marketing for 14 odd years. Most recently I was a Global VP of Marketing at a Software company operating in over 6 countries. Before that I was the UK/EMEA Marketing Director of a Cloud Managed Service Provider running both marketing and telesales for the business. I have been fortunate enough to have worked for start-ups, SMEs and Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies.

Throughout my career, I have always maintained a hands-on approach and focused a lot of energy on developing my marketing skill set. In addition to my abilities, I have qualifications in Digital Marketing, SEO, Social, Content and marketing automation. I am a full member of the IDM, ISM and CIM.  I am an ITSMA accredited ABM marketer, a LEAN practitioner (via ASQ), and more recently recognised as a Chartered Marketer.

Career highlight to date: I am a little bit of a data nerd, so:

  • Delivered 138% of H2 MQL goal in first three months of tenure @mTab
  • Drove over $1m MRR of pipeline (KPI $790k) in 2018 @Navisite
  • Rated within the top 1% of employees within EMEA for 2016 and awarded best newcomer award 2016 @CenturyLink
  • Implementation and management of multi-channel nurture resulting in a 35% increase in sales ready leads @4D Datacentres
  • Launched public sector campaign which resulted in 38% increase in company revenue @Memset

What does this all mean? Quite simply, I like taking business challenges, working out how to solve them through creative and engaging marketing campaigns that achieve positive results.

Plans for the future: To build on what I have already done. I believe that we should never stop learning and developing. I aim every day to demonstrate value to my clients, learn one new thing and make somebody else smile.
