Here’s 60 seconds with one of our VAs, Rosie, a marketing specialist who has recently joined our team.
Name: Rosie Wyatt
Area of Expertise: Marketing strategy and planning. Helping businesses to attract new clients and exploit new opportunities (and grow!). I also write content.
What did you do before you joined Get Ahead VA? I worked as a marketing manager in various organisations after graduating, starting out in an accountancy practice as their first marketing professional, and moved from there into IBM and then Vodafone. I worked mostly on channel marketing and developed dozens (if not hundreds!) of marketing plans. I implemented and worked on a great deal of direct marketing activity to increase business.
Why did you join Get Ahead VA? I joined Get Ahead VA in February 2019 because I wished to work in a team after being self-employed as a marketing consultant for over ten years. I enjoy the variety of clients and am always excited about new challenges.
Career highlight to date: I designed and launched a lead generation tool to be used worldwide by over 200 IBM channel partners. I’ve also written my first novel!
Plans for the future: To continue to work at Get Ahead VA, and really make a difference to our clients and watch their businesses succeed. I am also able to be a support for my teenage daughter as she approaches her GCSEs. I’d love to see my book published too (not asking for much!).
